I will be in Lucknow for Diwali and am eagerly looking forward to every bit of it. 

Do you believe in gifting or getting gifts during Diwali? 
I had hosted a pre-Diwali celebration at my house yesterday, and I organized a gift-opening session where everyone had to read aloud the personalized letters and gifts I had given them. The entire activity was so overwhelming. I enjoy giving gifts because the joy I feel when I make someone else happy is priceless.
