What is it about: Up In The Air follows the life of Ryan Bingham whose work is to move from company to company and fire redundant employees. During one of his trips, he meets Alex, a sophisticated woman who travels as often as he does. When his colleague Natalie comes up with the idea of firing employees via video conferencing, Ryan takes it upon himself to prove to Natalie that doing so would be inhumane. In the process, he learns a lot about friendship, family and love.
