Some filmmakers go places -- quite literally. Zoya Akhtar is one of them. The travel junkie recently explored various places in South Africa.
As a result of which, she be filming her untitled next, starring Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra, in the African nation.

A source close to her says, “Zoya likes to travel a lot and in her films also. She makes sure that she features places which she has visited in the past. In fact she is known to show some of her real-life incidents through her film.”

Zoya’s film is likely to go on the floors early next year and she is busy completing pre-production work at the moment. “Her last film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was set in Spain. Turns out Zoya had visited the country, a couple of times and included some of her own stories in it. Now for her next film too, she has been visiting different places in South Africa. A major portion of the film will be shot on the cruise off the South African coast and there is a possibility that she will add some of her travelling experiences in it.”
