Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's 1st wedding anniversary: DeepVeer's love and PDA in pictures!
It's already been two years of love and togetherness for Bollywood's favourite couple - Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh! The couple tied the knot on November 14 and 15, 2018, at Lake Como, Italy. (All pictures/Deepika and Ranveer's Instagram accounts; Yogen Shah)
Along with love and togetherness, it's also been a year of mush and PDA for DeepVeer. Before settling down, the couple dated for almost six years; they met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela.

To think that this couple is just like any other couple out there seems unbelievable, doesn't it? But beyond the designer outfits they wear and the glitzy parties they attend, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are just like us.

Take for instance, this event where Ranveer had no qualms about carrying wifey Deepika's sandals while she greeted people. He followed her, sandals in hand, like a good, thoughtful husband, as his wife led the way. This picture sums up the kind of pure love DeepVeer share.
Similarly, both Deepika and Ranveer are known to leave comments on each other's social media posts that you will find relatable. Case in point, when Deepika called Ranveer her 'trash can'!
Last year, Deepika shared a comic strip on Instagram, which showed a couple sharing food. When they have had enough, but there's still some food left, the girl asks the boy to open his mouth so she could put it all in. Deepika captioned it, "that's us..." while tagging hubby dearest in the post, and hubby dearest just laughed at the resemblance.

The couple doesn't shy away from praising each other or showing their love for each other in public. In an interview, Ranveer Singh sang praises about his wife; he said, "There is a child-like quality to her that nobody other than me has the privilege of seeing. It's a precious part of my life."

Speaking about his relationship with Deepika post marriage, he said, "It has only gotten better. Now, we're cocooned in love, and there is no space for doubt or misgiving. It's grounded-ness, centred-ness, security, warmth, and joy. We share experiences and laugh together. The added security that comes with marriage has allowed our relationship to blossom further."
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are rarely spotted not holding hands. Wherever they go, be it the airport or a wedding, DeeVeer are always holding hands like they're in a world of their own. Deepika had even shared a photo of them holding hands and captioned it as, "There's something so real about holding hands, some kind of complex simplicity, saying so much by doing so little..."
Deepika had written a sweet, mushy note for her husband on his birthday. She wrote, "Sensitive & emotional, caring & compassionate, generous & gentle, funny & intelligent, delightful & faithful... all this and so much more... To my husband, my friend, my lover, my confidante... but more often than not, my child, my infant, my toddler, my dot, my pineapple, my sunshine, my rainbow... May you forever and always be this way... I love you..." How adorable!
Ranveer Singh had once said that he shares a relationship of mutual admiration with Deepika Padukone, and is "blessed" to have her in his life. "It is a relationship of mutual admiration... I rate her very highly as an actor, and she doesn't," said the Bajirao Mastani actor.
Ranveer Singh had further quipped, "She says, 'You're just a ham'," adding that she is "awesome" and that "there's a lot to learn from her as an artiste."
If you think that's it with the PDA, you're mistaken! Ranveer had once shared how Deepika is the best kisser! Ranveer, who was a guest on Neha Dhupia's podcast, had said, "I think Deepika is the best kisser. Have you seen that song, Ang Laga De from Ram Leela?" In Ram-Leela, DeepVeer's chemistry was so palpable that it could be cut with a knife.
Sharing how he felt about his wife, Ranveer Singh once wrote, "Deepika is the most amazing person I've met in my life. And I'm not just saying this because she's my wife. I find it particularly challenging to articulate all my feelings about her, and even though I find language to be a limiting means to express myself, I shall try."
"Deepika nurtures a universe within herself: of love, compassion, kindness, intelligence, beauty, grace and empathy. These qualities make her a true and authentic artiste - she's one of the finest actors in the world," Ranveer continued in his note.

About his marriage to Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh said in a chat with mid-day, "Deepika gave me a dream wedding and an even better marriage. She had a vision for everything and worked meticulously on every detail. She gave me a memorable wedding that will be in my heart forever. I feel safe, secure and loved. Something has changed inside me; I am living the dream."
