Los Angeles: Acclaimed Indian films 'Fandry' and 'Liar's Dice', which were among the 53 motion pictures approved for Golden Globe consideration in the foreign language category, are not part of the final nomination list for the 72nd edition of the awards ceremony.

Nagraj Manjule's Marathi film 'Fandry', revolving around an 'untouchable' (Dalit) boy and his love for a girl from a higher caste, and Geethu Mohandas's 'Liar's Dice', which tells the story of a young mother who takes her daughter in search for her missing husband, were among the most lauded films of 2014 in India.
