The Oscar red carpet is easily the most scrutinised of all sartorial events and this year, the fashion was mostly restrained and sophisticated with plunging necklines and sequins ruling the roost. Avoiding red on the red carpet is usually considered a wise move, but trust Theron to break the norm and so gracefully at that.
