The nominations for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards are here, and Madonna has emerged as the most-nominated artist of the year with 11 nods. Taylor Swift follows with nine nominations, while Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter have seven each. Bruno Mars, PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson have five nominations apiece, while BLACKPINK’s Lisa has four.

BTS have also secured two nominations for their comeback song SWIM, with the track competing for Song of the Year and Best K-Pop. Shakira and Tate McRae each have three nominations, adding to an already packed line-up featuring major names across pop, hip-hop, RandB, Latin, country and K-pop.
