Sunday evening, a pint of beer, a bag of nachos and a group of friends glued to the screen watching a few of the best short films in the world — some of them tipped to take home the Oscars tomorrow. Sounds like fun? Read on.u00a0Make your way to Little Door, the lounge bar at Andheri (West) this evening, for your dose of Oscar-nominated short films from 2012 and 2013.

“They are all officially acquired,” smiles Cyrus Dastur of Shamiana, the short-film club that is organising the shows. So which films will be screened, we ask. “From last year’s nominations we are screening Time Freak and Pentecost and from this year’s shortlisted films, we will screen Death of a Shadow. There will be two other Oscar nominated short films too so in two hours, guests can watch five films and also take part in an interactive movie trivia session. We also have a surprise film for the audience,” says Dastur.
