What I took away from that experience was valuable and beneficial to me. It really forced me to look at myself.&rdquo; &ldquo;It&rsquo;s so corny to say but it&rsquo;s true; you just get in touch with the wonderment you have as a kid that you tend to lose. Obviously if you abuse a drug like that you&rsquo;ll never come back and end up as a f***ing psychotic maniac,&rdquo; Levine said. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s hard for me, as someone who does speak publicly about things, I&rsquo;m not saying, you should do drugs. I hope that&rsquo;s clear,&rdquo; he said. The 33-year-old singer also said that he believed smoking marijuana - also known as cannabis or pot - had helped his creative process and even aided him to write hit songs. &ldquo;I smoked a lot of pot when I was younger.
