When Heard filed for divorce from actor Johnny Depp, she asked for USD 50,000 per month and a restraining order due to alleged abuse. Her request for spousal support was denied by judge but she got a temporary restraining order as she accused her estranged husband of assault, reported Aceshowbiz.
The actress feels her request for spousal support was "used against me to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence."
"In light of the coordinated false and negative media campaign falsely depicting my attempts to attain a CLETS Domestic Violence Restraining Order as being financially motivated, I am hereby with drawing the request...for spousal support," she said in her court document.
