The producer also said that it was not difficult to convince Kutcher to star as the late gadget mogul. &quot;When Ashton read the script he was immediately attracted to the project. He is a Steve Jobs and Apple fan, and is technologically savvy, as well, so he recognised the historical importance of Steve Jobs and the potential of the project. He is very excited to have the role,&quot; he added. &quot;Jobs&quot; is planned to begin filming this May, and is expected to release in US theatres later this year.

'Two and A Half Men' star Ashton Kutcher is perfect for the role of the late Apple founder Steve Jobs, says producer Mark Hulme. Kutcher's casting initially drew pessimism among some Apple fans, but Hulme believed that the 33-year-old actor is the perfect choice for the film.
