Avengers: Endgame Encore has added more than nostalgia to the film’s return to theatres. The re-release features four new scenes across its ending and post-credits sequence, each dropping clues about the next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and setting up the multiverse crisis expected to play out in Avengers: Doomsday.

Loki arrives at Steve and Peggy’s door

The additions revisit familiar characters while introducing new developments around Loki, Bruce Banner, Doctor Doom and the TVA. Together, they turn the ending of Endgame into a bridge between the Infinity Saga and Marvel’s Multiverse Saga.
