The Backstreet Boys Singer Nick Carter was accused of sexual offence lewd or lascivious battery by engaging in sexual activity with an underage girl in 2003. In a police report, Carter, 37, was accused of sexual offence lewd by engaging in sexual activity with a 12 year old. In the report, the girl, who is referred to as AJ, contacted the Southern Regional Police Department in Pennsylvania in December 2003. Carter was 23 then. She said that the singer "should go to jail for this offence".
