Hollywood actress Megan Fox has headed off reports suggesting she had made shallow remarks about her good looks in a recent French magazine interview, insisting her quotes were lost in translation

The 'Transformers' star was subjected to harsh criticism after excerpts of her interview with Jalouse magazine were translated into English by American media outlets, Contactmusic reported.

The 25-year-old beauty was quoted as saying, "(I) live well with my image. I cannot complain. I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl."

But after the backlash over her comments, Fox took to her Facebook account on March 30 to defend her name and set the record straight.
