Los Angeles: Scarlett Johansson has hinted that competition may have led to her split with former husband Ryan Reynolds.

Though Johansson, who is now married to Romain Dauriac, did not name Ryan directly, she discussed about the hardships of having a relationship with another actor.
"There has to be a real understanding of how you share your time, especially when two people's careers are going at the same rate. Or even if one person is more successful than the other, that also proves challenging. There may be a competitive thing," she told Cosmopolitan magazine.
Johansson, 31, was married to Ryan from 2008 to 2011. Ryan is now married to Blake Lively.
