As many as six films from the Bollywood stable hit theatres last Friday, but they were clearly no match for Hollywood biggie Independence Day: Resurgence, which released alongside and salvaged a dull box office. But then, it wasn’t really surprising; Hollywood has overshadowed B’wood films at the ticket counters in more instances than one this year so far.
