Los angeles: Actress Brooke Shields is on the mend after undergoing double wrist surgery.

The Blue Lagoon star took to Instagram to share photos of her arm slings.
In one shot, she shows off her wrists, which are wrapped in bandages, and in the other picture, she sports two arm braces.
"Double wrist surgery... Carpal tunnel in both! Relieved!" she wrote.
"Told to wear these double arm slings. Feels like a self love exercise!"
This is the second time Brooke has been nursing an injury this year.
In August, she sliced her right foot in a mystery accident, and was spotted sporting heavy bandages and a brace.
