Taehyung's account has surpassed 40 million followers in 135 days

BTS’s Taehyung aka V has become the fastest person in the world to surpass 40 million followers in just 135 days. His Instagram account was created on December 6, 2021, along with the other six members, RM, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, Jin and J-Hope.
In the past, Taehyung became the fastest person to reach 1 million followers on Instagram in 40 minutes breaking Angelina Jolie's record of 1 hour. He also had 2 million followers in an hour, reportedly the fastest individual to do so on the platform. The singer also smashed Billie Eilish’s record of 1 million likes within six minutes by getting the same amount of likes within four minutes. The 25-year-old singer’s followers skyrocketed to 10 million within 24 hours. Earlier, Jennifer Aniston held the record for the same. V also broke the record of the most-liked Instagram post by an Asian and he's now the only artist who has two posts with more than 13 million likes.
