Los Angeles: 'Brothers & Sisters' actress Calista Flockhart is returning to TV with a co-starring role opposite Melissa Benoist in the drama 'Supergirl'.

Based on the DC Comics book Supergirl, the show centres on Kara Zor-El (Benoist). Flockhart, 50, will play Kara's boss Cat Grant in the project, reuniting with 'Brothers & Sisters' executive producer Greg Berlanti, reported Deadline.
