Cardi B recently grabbed headlines after photos and videos of her from the court trial surfaced on the internet. In one of the viral videos, she was seen dozing off while sitting in court. When asked about it, the rapper did not dodge the question and admitted that she fell asleep during closing arguments at her civil assault trial.

While talking to Jennifer Hudson, when asked, the rapper said, “I’m not even going to lie, I was." The 32-year-old added, “I had a long night! I’m in the middle of an album rollout. I was so sleepy, I was trying to fight it but I just couldn’t."
Although she laughed it off, she also pointed out that the timing of the trial could not have been worse. The Girls Like You star was found not guilty on September 2 in a civil case tied to allegations from a former security guard. However, she admitted the whole process was draining.
Cardi added, “I’m in the middle of an album rollout, and I have to go to court. And then, when I get to court, I realise that it’s going to be on national TV, being televised. It’s like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me.’ I missed my kids’ first day of school. But at least it’s positive press."
Her upcoming album, Am I the Drama?, is set for release on September 19.

While leaving the court in Alhambra, California, Cardi B's video of lashing out at a paparazzo after being questioned about her personal life also went viral. While she was making her way out of the court, she was asked if she was expecting her fourth child with ex-husband Offset and how that might affect NFL star Stefon Diggs, whom she has been linked to since June. Cardi snapped at the question, "Respect women," she shouted, before angrily tossing a marker in the direction of the paparazzo.
A video on social media shows the photographer pressing Cardi about claims that "Offset is publicly bragging about getting you pregnant for the fourth time" and whether there could be any "paternity issues with Stefon Diggs." Cardi, can be seen irritated as she grabbed a marker from a fan's hand and hurled it toward the pap.
