The 43-year-old brunette told the tabloid that the &lsquo;Basic Instinct&rsquo; actor was first diagnosed with throat cancer back in 2010, and was told it was stage four, with stage five being death. Zeta-Jones said that her spouse is a very matter-of-fact person and once he was diagnosed he was like, &lsquo;Okay, what do I do?&rsquo; She added that Douglas was very intensive, but he still retained his sense of humour during the whole ordeal.

Catherine Zeta-Jones has finally opened about husband Michael Douglas' cancer battle, revealing that she didn't think she had the "emotional tools" to deal with his disease.
