<p><strong>Los Angeles:</strong> Actress Courtney Stodden says she feels "empty" after suffering a miscarriage last week.</p>
<p>The 21-year-old reality star was expecting her first child with husband Doug Hutchison, but they lost the baby. She is finding it hard to come to terms with the loss.</p>
<p>She wrote on Twitter: "Grieving...Feeling so empty rn (sic)."</p>

<p>Stodden's manager confirmed the news of Stodden's miscarriage earlier this week.</p>
<p>In a joint statement, the couple had said: "It is with a heavy heart to inform you that last week Courtney Stodden suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage. Courtney and her husband, Doug, are at an emotional loss for words and are using this time to grieve with their close family and friends.</p>
<p>"Please respect their privacy as the couple try to cope with losing their precious baby and seek the support they both need."</p>
<p>Following her loss, Stodden, who was around three months pregnant, tweeted: "I love you my sweet angel", and "God is embracing you."</p>
<p>She also posted a photograph of a quote that said: "Babies lost in the womb were never touched by fear, they were never cold, never hungry, never alone &amp; importantly always knew love."</p>
<p>Stodden married Hutchison, 56, in 2011, but they split just two years later. However, they soon reconciled as she knew Hutchison was the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.</p>
<p>In May they announced they were having a baby and they also renewed their vows to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary.</p>
