London: Daniel Radcliffe battled alcohol abuse and a paralysing brain disorder, which came in the way during the production of the 'Harry Potter' films, alleges a new book.

Randy Jernigan, a journalist who's writing 'The Life And Career Of Daniel Radcliffe', claims to have spoken to 19 friends of the 24-year-old star and said that the episodes he suffered on the sets restricted him from doing anything, even tying his shoes, the Daily Star reported.
