Washington: David Hasselhoff has raised 150,000 dollars for charity by selling off his personal 'Knight Rider' car at an auction.

The former 'Baywatch' star was given a 1986 Pontiac Firebird - based on the computer-controlled Knight Industries Two Thousand (Kitt) supercar from his hit 1980s Tv show - as a gift from a dedicated fan, and he decided to put it under the hammer to support the Starlight Children's Foundation, Contactmusic reported.
