The Destiny&rsquo;s Child all-girl group of Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams has launched a verified Instagram account.
The account, which is run and controlled by Sony Music Entertainment, has been up since last week and has garnered up to 18,500 followers, reports an online portal. Only three photographs have been uploaded to the website but the captions have raised eyebrows. One image, which is reported to be their promotional shot for their single Girl in 2005, of the trio dressed in gold was accompanied by the caption, &ldquo;Girl became the fifth Destiny&rsquo;s Child single to earn a gold record from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on this day in 2005.&rdquo;
The second, which was a collage of all three girls, read: &ldquo;Destiny&rsquo;s Child released #1&rsquo;s on this day in 2005!&rdquo; &ldquo;This career-spanning compilation includes all their biggest singles plus new tracks &mdash; Stand up for love, Feel the same way I do and Beyonce&rsquo;s Check on it.&rdquo; And the third picture, of the trio leaning on one another in skimpy ensembles, read: &ldquo;Where they at, where they at? Soldier, featuring raps from TI and Lil Wayne, was released as a single on this day in 2004!
The band parted ways in 2006 to carve out solo careers, but there has been speculation that the trio will come back together to mark their 20th anniversary.
But, Rowland shut down the rumours earlier this week by declaring that no reunion is happening.
