Washington: Eva Mendes recently gushed about her newborn with Ryan Gosling, Esmeralda Amada Gosling, for the first time after her birth and joked that motherhood is like a cake compared to what it's like to be a baby.

The 40-year-old actress said that she finds solace in reading the comment section from other mothers because just knowing that other mothers also go through the same as she is helps her get by the nights, E! Online reported.
