A judge approved the Hollaback Girl hitmaker's request to change it to her maiden name Gwen Renee Stefani. Although Gwen has always gone by the same stage name, she legally changed her last name after getting married to Gavin in 2002.
The songstress filed for divorce from the musician in August 2015. They reached a divorce settlement in April.
In an interview with a magazine some time ago, Gwen had opened up about her split from Gavin.
"My dreams were shattered. All I wanted my whole life was to have babies, be married, like what my parents have. It was so insane because not only did my family break up, but my kids are taken away like half the time, so that was really like, 'What?! What did I do?' "
"Of course you go through the 'Why me?' and feel sorry for yourself. But then I was like, 'No, this happened to me already and I made something good out of it,' and that was Tragic Kingdom," she added.
