Los Angeles: Gwendoline Christie, who stars in the upcoming film 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' and the popular show 'Game of Thrones', says the only thing which binds them together is the off-beat female characters.

Christie, 36, known for portraying the warrior Brienne of Tarth in the HBO fantasy-drama, said all the projects have women roles that eschew the stereotypical narratives that many female characters are forced to follow in film, reported Variety.
