Two time Academy Award winner, Hilary Swank launched Mission Statement, a leisure line for the modern woman that's has been in the making for several years.
"I was looking for clothes that could take me from my workout into [the rest of] my day, and I couldn't find them&hellip; There's athleisure, but people just look like they're wearing their workout clothes all day. I don't want to look like that, so I set out to design something else," the actress told a website.
Swanks collection entails a series of flattering black leggings, cashmere sweaters, leather jacket, leather leggings and other collections.
"I didn't want to approach this as a hobby or side project. For me, this was just a natural extension of my own approach to life and then also realising I wasn't alone in this desire to have clothing that transitioned naturally from my workouts into my day. Every piece that was designed has a specific function but allows for seamless transition. The entire line is designed around this premise," she said.
