On February 13, Robbie Williams posted a nude picture of himself — with his hands covering his modesty — on Instagram to celebrate his 41st birthday and captioned it: 'Do you think my bell-end can #BreakTheInternet on my birthday?' Needless to say the actor, who already has 1,62,000 followers on Instagram and 2.4 million on Twitter, grabbed many eyeballs. With this shot, Williams became one of the several celebrities to give out unnecessary/excessive information on social media.

While many argue that it's a brand-building exercise, others feel that posting regularly on social media is the 'cool' thing to do. It's ironical how celebrities today often complain about lack of privacy but don't hesitate while posting pictures or share too many details of their lives on virtual space.
