London: Actor John Hurt, who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, says he is optimistic of making a full recovery. <img title="John Hurt" src="http://images.mid-day.com/images/2015/aug/12John-Hurt-1.jpg" alt="John Hurt" /> John Hurt&nbsp;
The 75-year-old "V for Vendetta" star announced about his illness in June. He has revealed his treatment is "going terrifically well," reported Female First.
"I can't say I worry about mortality, but it's impossible to get to my age and not have a little contemplation of it.
"We're all just passing time, and occupy our chair very briefly. But my treatment is going terrifically well, so I'm optimistic."
Despite his cancer diagnosis, John has pledged to continue working and has always been upbeat about the outcome of his treatment.
