London: British actor-rapper Idris Elba says he is "glad" people think he has a shot at acting as the next fictional spy James Bond.

According to the Daily Beast, Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairman Amy Pascal allegedly wrote an email to the distributor of the 007 franchise, suggesting "Idris should be the next bond".
