Idris Elba gets knighted by King Charles at Windsor Castle for his service to young people

Idris Elba was officially knighted by King Charles III at Windsor Castle for his services to young people. The actor, who received the honour during an investiture ceremony, expressed gratitude and said the work continues. Elba has long supported youth initiatives through charity work and his role as a Goodwill Ambassador for The King’s Trust

King Charles knighted actor Idris Elba in an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle on Tuesday. The 'Head of State' actor received the honour of knighthood for services to young people.

The Royal Family shared the photos from the investiture ceremony on their Instagram handle showcasing King Charles tapping a sword on Idris Alba's shoulders as he knelt to recieve his honour of knighthood.
