<p>Indian-American actor-designer <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>Waris Ahluwalia</strong> </span>was barred from boarding a flight from Mexico City to New York because he was wearing a turban. Waris features in Deepa Mehta's film, 'Beeba Boys', which stars Randeep Hooda.</p>

<p>Waris stated his plight on Instagram by posting a picture of himself holding up his boarding pass and another in front of the customer service desk. He was reportedly asked to remove his turban.</p>
