A source close to The Disaster Artist actor said that Franco is struggling with the aftermath of the allegations against him. Franco was one of the notable omissions from this year's Academy Awards nominations. He was expected to get a nomination in the Best Actor category for his portrayal of filmmaker Tommy Wiseau in The Disaster Artist, which he also directed.
