James Franco has come to defend his pal Ben Affleck after critics slammed that he wasn't a good fit for the role of Batman in the upcoming 'Man of Steel' sequel.

The ‘Spider Man’ star claimed that Affleck shouldn’t just star in the flick as the caped crusader, but he should direct it too, the Daily Express reported.
He thinks that Affleck has proved himself now as both a director and an actor.
