Los Angeles: Jamie Lynn Spears' daughter, Maddie, is reportedly in critical condition after she was badly hurt in an ATV accident. The 8-year-old was underwater for several minutes after an ATV she was riding flipped over, reported TMZ.

Maddie is the niece of pop superstar Britney Spears, whose sister, Jamie Lynn, made headlines in 2007 after announcing her pregnancy. Jamie Lynn was just 16 when she got engaged to Casey Aldridge, the father of her child. She is now married to Jamie Watson.
