Jason Momoa exits Helldivers movie; Sony begins hunt for replacement

Jason Momoa has reportedly exited the upcoming film adaptation of Helldivers. According to reports, Sony Pictures is now searching for a replacement. Directed by Justin Lin, the sci-fi action film is scheduled for release on November 10, 2027

Hollywood star Jason Momoa has reportedly quit PlayStation Productions and Sony Pictures' upcoming film adaptation of the acclaimed video games "Helldivers".

According to the entertainment news outlet Deadline, Sony Pictures is searching for another actor to take on Momoa's role in the film, based on Arrowhead Game Studios' video game franchise. There is no information on the reason for Momoa's exit.
