The 25-year-old "Hunger Games" star said that they will go ahead with the project "soon," reported People magazine.
"We have finished writing it. We have an official first draft. I am going to try and fit it somewhere into my ghoulish schedule," Lawrence said.
She also gushed about how much fun she had while working with Schumer, 34.
"It was hilarious, because when youre writing a comedy its not good enough unless youre laughing out loud. So Im laughing at my pages and Im laughing at her pages and thinking that the whole process is hilarious. Im thinking weve got a pretty funny, good movie," she added.
The two first announced their collaboration last summer. The real life friends will play sisters in the film.
