Los Angeles: Funnyman Jimmy Kimmel will be returning as host for the 68th Emmy Awards, having fronted the ceremony four years ago.

"I am hosting the #Emmys on Sunday Sept 18," the 48-year-old TV host tweeted to his followers confirming the announcement.
