However, Annemarie Bekker, a spokeswoman for the Anne Frank House, said that museum officials were &ldquo;a bit overwhelmed&rdquo; by the negative reaction to Bieber&rsquo;s statement. She said that Bieber was just a 19-year-old boy, who took the effort to come and see the museum, and they would like to point that out.

Justin Bieber, who recently visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, wrote in their guestbook that he hoped Frank "would have been a Belieber" if she had lived.
