Pic/AFP &ldquo;There&rsquo;s really no way we could have known - she was in such great spirits,&rdquo; CBS News quoted C editor Jenny Murray as telling &lsquo;Entertainment Tonight.&rsquo; In the interview, Holmes said, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m ready to take on some more challenging roles. I feel like I worked so much at such a young age that I really wanted to have life experiences. I feel more balanced and that I have more to bring to the table.&rdquo; C senior editor Kelsey McKinnion, who met with Holmes for the interview, told WWD, that most noticeable in the interview was the fact that she had not once taken Cruise&rsquo;s name. &ldquo;Going back over the tapes, there were signs: Holmes was certainly very aware of herself, laying a couple cards on the table but never showing her whole hand,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;Most noticeably, the one name decisively absent from her lexicon: Tom Cruise. She never actually refers to him by name over pages and pages of transcription,&rdquo; McKinnion said. According to WWD, when asked if having daughter Suri, now 6, brought them close together, Holmes replied, &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t know. I mean...I don&rsquo;t know. People have been having babies a long time.&rdquo; Cruise and Holmes had announced earlier this month that they had reached a divorce settlement.
