He later moved to Stockholm and studied fine arts, which is where he explored different creative fields. During this time, he met a perfumer who ignited his interest in fragrance-making.
With his varied life experiences, Gorham started working with fragrances, often using limited materials and simple ideas. His experiments eventually led to the launch of his brand, Byredo. The brand steadily grew on to become popular for its clean design and scents inspired by memories, emotions, and personal moments from his life.
