Los Angeles: Director Len Wiseman has filed for divorce from his actress-wife Kate Beckinsale, a year after they announced their separation.
The "Underworld" helmer filed for dissolution of their 12-year-old marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences", reported AceShowbiz.
Wiseman also requested the court to terminate the spousal support to either party as they have a prenuptial agreement on that.
Beckinsale and Wiseman first met on the set of "Underworld" in 2003 and then tied the knot in 2004.
The couple, both 43, split last year. They have no children together, but Beckinsale has a daughter from a previous relationship with Michael Sheen.
