Leonardo DiCaprio attended an annual gala for Haiti Takes Root, a 10-year long initiative dedicated towards reforestation and development of the Caribbean country, along with his actor-friend Sean Penn.

The Oscar-winning actor turned up to support Penn, who founded the non-profit that organised the event. "Haiti was devastated by Hurricane Matthew. I watched from another country as news organisations said no one is doing anything for these people," Penn said.
The actor&rsquo;s friends, including Naomi Campbell, Ellie Goulding, and Donna Karan, were also in attendance at the gala.
