Mel Gibson, whose new film, Hacksaw Ridge, is set to release early next month, is expecting his ninth child. This will be his first with 26-year-old girlfriend Rosalind Ross. He recently told an entertainment website that his days of anxiously pacing around the delivery room are long gone.
"What's one more? I'm just there to catch," the actor, 60, said, joking, "I'm too old to get nervous. I think my adrenals are worn out, so I don't even react anymore."&nbsp;Meanwhile, Gibson will receive the Hollywood Film Awards' Hollywood Director Award on November 6.
His new film stars Andrew Garfield in the true story of Desmond T Doss, an Army medic and conscientious objector, who displayed heroism in the Battle of Okinawa.
