First Lady of the US, Melania Trump, has urged broadcaster ABC to "take a stand" against late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, accusing him of using "hateful and violent rhetoric" that she said is "intended to divide our country," according to Variety.

In a post on X, Melania Trump strongly criticised Kimmel and questioned ABC's continued support for the comedian. "Kimmel's hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn't comedy -- his words are corrosive and deepen the political sickness within America," she wrote.
