The ‘Basic Instinct’ actor, who split from Luker in 2000, said that though he has nothing against his first wife and is fond of her; he asserted that they should have ended that marriage eight or 10 years earlier, the Mirror reported.

The 68-year-old Academy Award winner said that it took him too long to realize that going to a marriage counselor doesn’t solve the problems, as it is in the therapist’s interest to keep the marriage going for he would have no business otherwise.
