Hollywood horror film Obsession has emerged as an unexpected global cinematic sensation, despite being made on a modest budget. Along with the rest of the world, the horror-drama is also finding a strong audience in India. Now, director Curry Barker has reacted to the film’s surprising performance in the country.

During an interview with Variety India, Barker stated that he had not expected Obsession to become a major success, adding that the scale of the box office numbers, in India and elsewhere, had taken him by surprise.
