Pete Davidson and his actress girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, recently announced their pregnancy. The couple who have been dating for around a year took to Instagram to share their news that they are expecting their first child together via an adorable and witty post on the social media site.

The actress shared a post on Instagram on Wednesday announcing her pregnancy. The post included a carousel of their intimate images featuring some sweet couple moments, along with a video clip from inside a doctor’s clinic. The video seems to be from their ultrasound appointment, wherein the fetus can be seen on the monitor. Davidson has earlier spoken about how he wants to have children.

Notably, their announcement comes after a TMZ report initially reported that they were having a baby. Sources close to the couple share that Elsie is due this winter and that the couple has just started breaking the news ti friends and family. We're told the pair couldn’t be more excited.

Interestingly, the couple had managed to keep their relationship under wraps for quite some time. It was in May 2024 that an insider reportedly told People that Davidson and Hewitt had taken the next step in their relationship by moving in together. The source had revealed, “Pete and Elsie have been living together in New York for the past few months. They are splitting their time between Pete’s house in upstate New York and a brownstone they recently started renting in Brooklyn." They also added that the couple were “so happy together and doing great.”
Just weeks following the reports, Davidson and Hewitt made their first red carpet appearance at the 13th Annual Blossom Ball at the Pierre Hotel in New York City. Earlier in July 2025, Hewitt shared photos from their time together, including a Fourth of July boat ride wherein Davidson was seen kissing her on the cheek.
Reportedly, Davidson started dating Hewitt eight months after ending his relationship with Outer Banks actress Madelyn Cline. He has also dated Kim Kardashian for nine months between October 2021 and August 2022. On the other hand, Elsie was reportedly linked to actor Jason Sudeikis earlier.
